Rund um mein Austauschjahr

Sea today

finally / already winter vacation

Well yesterday was my last schoolday in this year. Actually I hadn`t a real schoolday, so I had no classes.
At ten I went to church with my class (in actual fact my whole school was in church) and I have to say it`s kinda strange to be in church with non-religious people. Why they`re going to church?!
By the way for those who don´t know: almost everybody in estonia ist non-religious.
But it was nice in church, the choir was singing and our school Choir is quite good.
After church we (my class + me) went to make Pizza together in kitchen of the school next to ours.
It was nice and the pizza was delicious.

On the day  before (thursday) the whole gymnasium, the classes 10-12 had a christmas party in evening under the motto "70s & 80s". It was pretty awesome and much fun. Everybody came in clothes of this century and the assembly hall was also rightful decorated.
Every class had to make a "Playbox" (copy a videoclip and show it on the stage). Well I think our class made it the best ;)!
After this we danced to old songs and had fun.

Update - How I feel - What I feel

Well, I`m here since almost 4 months. Unbelievably. The time passes so fast here. In two weeks is Christmas and I`m kinda excited how my lovely hostfamily will celebrate it. At the moment I miss my family in germany a lot, but it isn`t homesickness.
In germany is the christmastime a time where you do a lot of things together with your family. Like cooking, baking, decorating...etc. and here it`s different.
But it`s normal for an exchangestudent to make new experiences. That´s the thing wich makes a exchangeyear intersting and likeable.
I´m so happy and thankful that my family (in Germany) has enabled me to make this awesome experience. It`s weird there exists this one quote, it says "You appreciate first what you have, when you´re gone" and that is so true.
Now I know that I coudn`t have a better family!

I have to say that I feel very at home here on estonia. I´m happy.

And by the way: Minu eestikeel on veel halb. (My estonian is still bad)

On Saturday we`ve celebrated Lea 16`s birthday. It was much fun and I finally met some other exchangestudents again. We´ve eaten cake, talked and watched a funny old serbien movie. I really love this guys..I don`t wanna miss them.
